Could Louis XVI have survived if France was not invaded during the Revolution?

I'm wondering about this. He was executed for treason because of letters found in a chest in the Tuileries palace proving collaboration with the Austrian invaders of France. If France's neighbours had accepted the Revolution, could Louis have survived as a constitutional-monarch?
