Would this help??...?

Well, I am a beginner figure skater, and I just turned 13. I was thinking about taking up Rhythmic Gymnastics to improve my balance, flexibility, strength and stamina. It could be one of my off ice training for now, since I don't have a coach. Do you think this would help? Would it also help my hand-eye coordination which kinda sucks? Please and Thank you.
