Looking into starting to collect Batman comics?

I don't know very much about comics, and I'm a Batman fanatic, so I've decided to start collecting the comics. Since the Reborn story started up, I figured I'd start collecting now. However, I need some istance in figuring out how to get ahold of older issues. Whether they be reprints or collections, any suggestions would be great.
