How can you set up an external hard drive to use both FAT32 and Mac Extended Journal?

Basically I just bought a WD My studio 1 tb hard drive. I have a macbook pro from 2009 with snow leopard and I also have a Playstation 3 with many files that I wish to put onto my hard drive. The only problem is that I can't format the HD to use the FAT32 format (which is required for PS3) and the Mac Extended Journal (which is required for my computer). I have been uploading movies onto my Ps3 via Rivet and after they were done uploading, I deleted them off my computer. Now i simply want to take all of the files OFF my Ps3 and onto my hard drive, while still being able to connect to my Mac and to take all the files off of there. Please someone help I feel like im bashing my head into a wall.
