Howcome every little thing he does...?

Ok, well, my fiance, Patrick, for the last three nights, was in another state for a business trip (He works at a concert arena, and the corperation headquarters are in a different state), and I have a hard time falling asleep without him next to me. Every night, I fall asleep with my head on his chest or his shoulder, and his arm around me, so when he's not there, I have a hard time sleeping. So last night, he came home early, because they cancelled the last meeting and he caught an earlier flight, and got home around 1:30 AM. I was already in bed, asleep, after laying there for a long time. It was cold and rainy, and I didn't have him to keep me nice and warm like usual. :( But when he got home, he came into the bedroom, layed down next to me (I was still asleep,) and pulled me close to him, and wrapped his arms around me. I woke up then, and realized that I was nice and warm, and I looked up, and I saw him, and I went to freak out, but he went, "Shh," and kissed me gently. I was asleep again in his arms within 5 minutes. I could not have been any happier. <3 My question is though, what is it that makes those little things that he does so special?
