Should I accompany the appraiser during a appraisal on a new construction?

I am buying a new construction condo. They ordered an appraisal and did not tell me until it was over. I am a little worried, because I used the preferred lender of the sales office and I am wondering if the appraisal is actually accurate. Can I get a copy of the report? Is there a third party auditor to ensure that the appraisal is accurate?
