Tyrogue in Firered help please!!?

I'm at the fighting gym in Saffron City in Firered. I want to get a tyrogue so I can get a hitmontop but the guide says that both hitmonchan and hitmonlee's genders is male so how can I get a female so I can breed them? Is there a cheat?? I saw someone post online that they bred them so please tell me how thanks :)
